ANZAC Veterans’ March Contingent leaders should contact the March Co-ordinator (if they have not yet done so) to ensure that their contingent is included in the Order of March. To help with overall arrangements, contingent leaders are requested as a matter of urgency to advise the March Co-ordinator of the number of marchers expected to be taking part. Water points and portable public toilets will be available along ANZAC Parade.
Road Closures – Road closures will be in operation from 4.00am to 1.00pm, which will limit public access to parking at the Memorial. Visitors planning to walk to the Memorial should keep to the footpaths as shuttle buses will be in operation.
ACTION Bus Services The Australian War Memorial and ACTION Buses will be providing FREE bus services to and from both the Dawn Service and the National Ceremony. This year, to assist passengers in preparing their travel to the ceremonies, ACTION has implemented a new registration process, Register to Ride.
Register to Ride provides assurance that your bus travel to and from the ceremonies is arranged. It also allows ACTION to be able to manage customer demand and ensure resources are used effectively. Tickets are limited so customers are encouraged to register early.
For all information and to register to ride with ACTION please go to www.action.act.gov.au or contact ACTION on 13 17 10.
